Adsorbents for Contaminant Removal from Propylene Streams

UOP adsorbents can help you remove contaminants present in your ethylene streams and propylene streams. By doing so, you will be able to meet the demanding monomer feedstock specifications that are often as low as the parts per billion (ppb) range. Count on our highly specialized adsorbents for dehydration purposes, as well as for the removal of sulfur (light mercaptans, H2S and COS), oxygenates (CO2), arsine (AsH3), and mercury. You can use these products in separate vessels or, to minimize capital outlay, as a combination of products in compound beds within single vessels.

These unique products are extensively tested, commercially proven, and are designed to work effectively in highly-reactive olefinic streams without forming by-products or causing temperature runaways as a result of unwanted reactions.
