UOP offers a range of alumina powders and zeolites that are ideal
components for automotive emission control equipment.
Our zeolites include ultra-stable (US) Y, beta, and MFIs. These materials have
been successfully tested in a variety of hydrocarbon and NOx trap applications.
Our zeolites can be customized to provide you with compatible hydrocarbon release
characteristics for your catalytic converter systems.
UOP’s aluminas are excellent base materials for the wash coating of the
ceramic monoliths in your catalytic converters. We offer both uncalcined (pseudoboehmite)
and calcined (gamma phase) alumina powders, and can customize these materials
across a broad range of densities and surface areas.
