UOP President and CEO Carlos A. Cabrera to Receive ISA Honorary Membership
ISA has selected UOP President
and CEO Carlos A. Cabrera for
honorary membership, the highest form of recognition bestowed by the society. Selected
senior members are approved by the Honors & Awards Committee and subsequently by the ISA
Executive Board for this prestigious membership. This honor is reserved for individuals
whose outstanding contributions to the advancement of the arts and sciences of
instrumentation, systems, and automation are worthy of special recognition. ISA will
recognize Mr. Cabrera at its Annual Honors & Awards banquet on October 16 in Houston,
Texas.
Founded in 1945, ISA is a leading, global, nonprofit organization that is setting the
standard for automation by helping over 30,000 worldwide members and other professionals
solve difficult problems. Based in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, ISA develops
standards; certifies industry professionals; provides education and training; publishes
