Catalytic Condensation
Since first commercializing the catalytic condensation process during
the 1930s, UOP has licensed and designed more than 200 units worldwide.
The catalytic condensation process is highly versatile and can be used in combination
with other processes to produce high quality poly gasoline, cumene, nonene,
and dodecene from propylene or butylene feeds.
UOP has made catalyst for this application since 1935. This solid phosphoric
acid (SPA) catalyst product line is highly active, selective and stable.
