Training Courses
UOP offers a
wide range of standardized instructor-led training courses covering
process technology, engineering,
controls and instrumentation mechanical integrity, and more. Our
open-enrollment courses are offered at our Des Plaines, IL training
center as well as other locations around the world including the new
Dhahran Technical
Center in Saudi Arabia.
Web-Based
Training
UOP's new
Web-Based Training courses teach refining process engineers and
operations personnel the basic concepts of UOP process technology.
Web-based topics are also available for refinery and petrochemical
process engineers on the basic concepts of engineering design. The
interactive courses designed by UOP technical experts are taken at
the student's pace for maximum convenience.
Troubleshooting Tools
Computer-based
diagnostic tools are a valuable solution that can help your team to better
understand unit operations and troubleshoot issues quickly and
efficiently. UOP has developed a series of Expert Systems tools for
key UOP processes.
Training Simulators
UOP now offers
training simulators jointly developed with Honeywell Process
Solutions. These
dynamic tools allow process engineers and operators to develop and
practice their skills in a safe, realistic and repeatable
environment.
