  • Coker, Cracking and Reforming Furnaces

  • UOP CCR Platforming and Oleflex Furnaces
    Callidus burners are designed for reliable, low-maintenance operation while maximizing profitability with lower emissions for your UOP CCR Platforming and Oleflex furnaces.
  • Midstream Heaters
    For midstream heater applications, CUBL burner technology combines staged fuel and flue gas recirculation technologies to produce very low NOx emissions. Burner mixing is optimized because fuel gas (mixed with inert flue gas) enters the burner throat perpendicular to the incoming combustion air stream. These advantageous NOx reduction features are without the need for expensive post-combustion emission or fuel altering equipment. CO is virtually eliminated, and flame envelope is minimized.

In a Callidus Premix burner, the fuel and air needed for combustion are drawn together and mixed prior to discharge from the burner tip.

Callidus Premix Burner Models:

  • Callidus Aerodynamic Radiant Wall (CARW) Rising fuel in the heater negatively impacts the ability if the stage to down-fire.
  • LE-CARW is the low emission version of the CARW Radiant Wall Burner. The fuel jet energy brings about aspiration of its own combustion air, mixing with fuel prior to combustion.

Callidus conventional burners, including the Callidus Raw Gas (CRG) burner and Callidus Raw Gas Combination burner, are often ideal for applications where a short flame pattern is desirable and stringent NOx emissions are not required.  In a conventional burner, the fuel and air needed for combustion are mixed in the throat of the burner where ignition and oxidation reaction occurs. There is a single flame zone compared to multiple flame zones in typical low NOx solutions.
